Positioning care to support innovation, growth and upskilling

UKRI Innovation Fellows

In autumn 2017 the Sustainable Care team was awarded three prestigious Innovation Fellowships connected to its ESRC Large Grant, following success in a competition resourced through the National Productivity Investment Fund and linked to the UK’s Industrial Strategy.

This work is being undertaken in 2018-2020 under the direction of Sustainable Care PI Sue Yeandle in collaboration with co-investigators Diane Burns and Jason Heyes.

Its focus is on Positioning Care to Support Innovation, Growth and Upskilling and three Innovations Fellows were appointed early in 2018 to take up the Fellowships. Each has an individual research programme linked to Sustainable Care, and is working in partnership with industrial and care sector partners.
