Sustainable Care Senior Team, Lead For Care: Sustainability And Wellbeing

Allister McGregor was Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Politics and an Associate Fellow of the Sheffield Political Economy Research Institute (SPERI) at the University of Sheffield, UK. He has written extensively on the concept and methodologies for understanding human wellbeing and operationalizing it for public policy and practice. He was Director of the ESRC funded Research Group on Wellbeing in Developing Countries (WeD) and was the lead author of and co-editor of ‘Wellbeing in Developing Countries.’ Cambridge University Press, 2007.

Allister was the leader for the overarching Care: Sustainability and Wellbeing: a conceptual and analytical framework for policy and practice in care and caring.
