Dr Alasdair Rutherford

Alasdair Rutherford is a senior lecturer in social statistics at the University of Stirling. His research is mainly applied econometric and statistical work using large national administrative and survey datasets. His interests include charities and non-profits, ageing, health and social care, volunteering and unpaid care.

Alasdair is part of the Scottish Administrative Data Research Centre; the Centre for Population Change; the Scottish Civil Society Data Partnership; and the Scottish Longitudinal Study of Ageing (HAGIS).

Alasdair will be contributing to the work package Comparing UK Care Systems: prospects, development and differentiation in the four UK care nations.
